Combat is a core pillar in most TTRPGs. Even in games or systems that are role play heavy, combat encounters often play a critical role in the game as a story telling tool or method of confrontation. To make combat fun, engaging and entertaining, we have found that the forum of the combat, the environment if you will, is just  as important as why or who the party is fighting.
