Topic: CREATE WITH YOUR NEW SEASONS (Part 2)!
Memory Verse: "Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place" - Job 38:12 KJV
Bible Text: Genesis 1: 1 KJV
1. In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
INSPIRATION: Looking at Genesis 1:2-25 critically, you'd observe the great efforts God put into creation. He sets up systems and structures that are self-sustaining and self-governing. This is quite profound. Whilst our lives should not be regulated to run on auto-pilot which relegates us to the status of robots, we must set up systems and structures that run independent of us.
Principles and policies that work most effectively are those built on and woven around structures. They run independent or regardless of whomever sits on the saddle. Imagine for a moment if God had to run in at every given instance to fix the earth whenever something goes wrong. But that's what we do most times, stressing ourselves over what could have fixed itself had we built systems and structures around them that are self-governed. That's not how God created us to operate.
To pilot your affairs on this premise is to run against the sequence of our existence. It would stress, weary, age and destroy us. Our lives and investment concerns should not shutdown because we're not physically present to fix things. Get back to God's template on structures and gain wisdom. Set up a structure of value chain around everything you've a concern and vested interest in and see the difference it makes!
TODAY'S TAKE HOME:
Panic, self exertion and much of the mental rigors we subject ourselves to will reduce when we build and leverage on the right systems and structures to govern our lives.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to build the right systems and structures that regulate my affairs and produce better results. I refuse to weary myself in endless labours over what wisdom could fix. Help me Lord, to learn Your pattern of control, in Jesus name.
