When you think about the church what is it that you think of- What do you think that the church is- When you think of building the church what comes to mind- What do you consider that the purpose of the church is- Just exactly what is it that makes the church really the church- When I ask what you think it is that builds the church, I cannot ask that without asking what tears it down. What role do you play in the church- What-s is your part of the church- Do you build the church or do you tear it down- Are you helping make the church stronger or are you helping to tear it down. Is this building what makes the church the church- --I believe that you all know the answers to these questions. I believe that you know the true and correct answers to these questions. Yet knowing the right answers and reciting them does not mean that you are willing to put them into practice. What is wrong with the church today- Do you know- Why do so many churches suffer with the ever declining roles- --What is wrong is that many have got it all wrong. Many do not rightly recognize the church for what God ordained it to be and by what means it was to be established. Man has allowed history and the opinions of man on scripture along with his desire that being man-s desire to be great in his own eyes to weaken the church-s ability to reach the lost. It has become harder to bring those outside of the church inside because the man in the church exhibits many of the same mentalities as the man outside the church.
