Sept. 26, 2023 marks 50 years for CEWIL Canada. From its origins as CAFCE in 1973 with a small group of passionate individuals to the leading organization on all things Work-Integrated Learning in Canada, it's been a journey. It's important to reflect on these 50 years, celebrate the successes and identify where positive change can be made. You don't exist as an organization for this long without earning the trust of your members and the people you serve. On this episode I sit down with Stan Chung to talk about building trust, the importance of the "check-in", aligning equity in strategy and operations, colonial power structures in higher ed. including a mindful critique of land acknowledgements, and how to enact change through indigenous informed EDI.
Guest: Sae Hoon "Stan" Chung
