WORT 89.9FM Madison · Building Unity Rallies In Solidarity With Striking Case – Holland Workers

Since May of 2022, over a thousand members of United Auto Workers Local 870, in Burlington, Iowa and Local 180 in Racine, Wisconsin have been on strike against Case-Holland, maker of ubiquitous tractors and other farm equipment.  With the action now entering its ninth month, and little progress at the bargaining table, Building Unity is holding a week of solidarity actions, culminating in a rally in Racine on Saturday, December 17th.  Timothy Cordon, Coordinator of Building Unity Wisconsin and Bryan Pfeifer, co-founder of the Wisconsin Bail Out the People Movement,  joined the Monday Buzz on December 12, 2022.
