Nehemiah 4:14
About Tania
Tania Landwehrle and her husband, Roland, have three children - a teenage son named Kyle and two young daughters, Taylor and Ryann. There is never a dull moment in the Landwehrle family, as each of their children is unique in age and in personality, and they are confident in their love for Jesus.
Tania's Full BioMoms for ChristHi everyone, it's Tania and welcome to the Moms for Christ podcast. The Word that the Lord has put in my heart comes from Nehemiah, chapter 4 verse 14. And it says, “After I looked things over, I stood up and said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, ‘Don't be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.’”
When the Lord calls us to do something, it's never meant to take place in our own strength. Our job is to move obediently, following the Lord's instructions. In this story, Sanballat was very angry that the wall was being rebuilt. He ridiculed the people and threatened to stop the work of the Lord.
This wall is not just a wall for my children, but the generations after them. It's a wall for our church and the families to come. The wall must be built. The foundation must be on a firm foundation - which is Christ Jesus. Just as with a physical wall, a spiritual wall may need repairs, and some places may need to be fortified - so we constantly inspect the wall to make sure it's secure.
Lord, thank You for Your goodness, Your love, and wisdom. Lord we ask that You would show us the places in our lives that are in desperate need of repair. Lord please help us to be diligent in going after those places so that our tower is strong in You. Lord, I pray that we would remember how great and awesome You are - and fight, keeping our eyes on You. God bless and have a wonderful week. I will speak to you again soon.
