In this episode of the 2nd Floor podcast we sit down with Nitin Bhatia, Nitin is homegrown in Edmonton and is one of the founding partners of SB LLP and Team Lead of our Corporate Commercial group. Nitin has a practice which is highly focused on transactional files both in the corporate securities and banking sector, and the commercial real estate sector. He is regularly involved in mortgage financing, leasing, and development work. His experience has led him to work with clients that include land developers, retail/hospitality complex developers, major financial lenders, smaller scaled private lenders, chartered banks and credit unions, and members of the Alberta Real Estate Association.

Nitin has been a sessional professor at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Business and is currently a sessional professor at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law in the area of Commercial Real Estate and Financing.

Nitin has practiced law for over a decade, building his team from 4-40 members.
