Group Program Specialist Megan Huber transforms 6 and 7 figure coaches, consultants, experts and their teams into world class group program facilitators who design and deliver unforgettable experiences for their clients so that their clients remain satisfied, get results, and keep coming back for more. Additionally, Megan's approach gives business owners the ability to remove themselves from 50%-75% of client delivery so that they can scale their growth and get their life back. Megan combines her years of service in public education, athletic coaching, group facilitation, entrepreneurship and her ability to create sustainability and scalability through the right structure and leverage as a way to empower business owners to remove themselves from the day-to-day of delivering their group programs while clients still implement and get great results. Hosting the Built To Last Podcast and leading the Tribe of Legends Facebook Group are two of her favorite ways to connect with high performance entrepreneurs who choose to become her standout clients and transformational leaders inside their own best in class group programs.
Megan believes that most coaches, consultants and experts that many entrepreneurs work with do not have the knowledge or skill set to know how to identify when a client is ADHD or how to best support them in implementation and getting results leading ultimately to transformation. As a result, an incredible amount of frustration is experienced by both coach and client. Business is still predominately taught and approached in one particular manner...show up, put your head down, do the work, get results. But that approach no longer works for the ever changing human psychology or society. Entrepreneurs learn, do and live in different ways so there isn't a one size fits all approach.
From Megan's perspective and what she's hearing from A LOT of business owners is frustration with certain clients that aren't showing up and doing the work. To the point where many business owners want to throw in the towel or ditch their entire leveraged program. Megan believes that PART of the issue is that their approach to teaching, coaching, and training is best suited for the business owner's learning and processing style NOT an approach that serves a group of diverse learners and processors. As leaders, she believes we need to be better equipped to serve clients with various limitations, weaknesses, and strengths so that all learners can thrive in the environments created for them to do so.
In this episode, we discuss:
- Her take with ADHD in the marketplace with coaches and consultants.
- Why it's harder to guide ADHD students in the virtual setting.
- Why the emphasis on sales and marketing is doing us a disservice.
- The importance of having better lines of communication.
- How to engage the ADHD students in your programs.
- Project-based learning to break up monotony
- Tracking data in your group programs to see when people stop showing up.
- Shiny object syndrome // marketing bait
