Today’s guest is Marcus Lannie. Marcus Lannie is a senior in Mechanical Engineering with minors in Economics and Intercultural Communication and is best known for his LinkedIn video series “Marcus’ Morning Minute.” Currently, he serves as President of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, which has grown from 10 to over 300 members under his leadership, and he works part time as a Sales Engineer for a precision laser cutting company. This semester, Marcus was named an Engineering Fellow, Purdue’s highest engineering award, and he has been running his LinkedIn video series for over 500 consecutive days. Marcus’ previous experience ranges from Program Management to Engineering to Consulting to Public Speaking, and he attributes much of his success to branding and LinkedIn.
