  • (8) Emily Wang is really, really passionate about BUILDING a better world... she also needs pants

This is a very special episode of Bulk Beans & Bicycles where we talk to our hero live and in person (or... at least in real time).

Emily Wang is a natural builder based in Metro Boston. Through her company, Biolithic Builds LLC, she leads educational experiences and building projects to fundamentally shift how we think about living sustainably, starting with the roof over our heads.

She has a background in chemical engineering and worked in renewable energy technology before jumping ship to build with dirt in 2024. Since then, she has taught in variety of settings, including at Yestermorrow Design/Build School, Rhode Island School of Design, and the Providence Preservation Society. She has studied at The Heartwood School, The Stone Trust, and with natural builders around the country.
