Mississippi State had just 55 scholarship players on Saturday. One of them was true freshman QB Will Rogers who was making his first college start. Behind a patchwork offensive line, Rogers and the Bulldogs generated just enough offense to win.

Now State has a taller task ahead with Auburn, so will those players who missed last week be back? What if other players are out? Will the game be played at all?
