We see in Exodus 29:1-9 that what the priests had to go through in order to

be consecrated was pretty unusual.  Lots of sacrifices and blood.  As we

will see in our Exodus study once again, this all points us forward to the

fulfillment in Jesus who offered up the last and final sacrifice.
