I used to give out a ribbon to my students each term that said Who I Am Makes a Difference. I would call them up to the front of the room one by one and let them know how they had made a positive impact in my classroom. I’ve been out of the school classroom for 14 years now. I still have students tell them they still have their ribbon when I bump into them in the community. Most of them have their own children now.
You make a difference everywhere you go. You get to decide what kind of difference you make.
