ABOUT HEATHER
Heather Donatini and her husband Jason are no strangers to grief. They have weathered the loss of two children, Corinne at just three days old and 4 ½ year old Jarren after a rare cancer diagnosis.
After Jarren’s passing they established the BumbleBee Foundation - a nonprofit organization that supports pediatric cancer families. BumbleBee currently supports over 370 cancer kiddos throughout the state of California through six (6) programs and has recently expanded pediatric cancer support in Idaho.
Heather, dubbed “Queen Bee”, serves as BumbleBee’s Executive Director and considers it an honor to have been able to help families in memory of her son for over a decade now. She credits her ability to stay and fight in the trenches with these families to her faith.
Heather, Jason and their two children reside in Idaho. When not in her Queen Bee role she can be found at the baseball field cheering her son behind the plate, at a horse arena watching her daughter ride, enjoying time with her family, taking in a gorgeous sunset, and exploring her new state.
