Have you ever had someone tell you that they wish they had your life and
your internal reaction is to ask, WHY? It is very common for others to
see your life through a lens that doesn’t represent the reality of
living your life. When we’re kids, we think we can’t wait to grow up
and do whatever we want. When we’re adults, we wish we could go back to
being kids without anything to worry about. But we should all know by
now that we can find bitterness or joy in almost anything. Perhaps
there is a better and more spiritually healthy way at approaching how we
see what comes our way. We’re going to look at the start of Esther’s
story and her rise to being queen. While many would think this is a
fairy tale come true, we’ll see that she has her own heartaches and
burdens which are magnified as she rises to the throne.
