In 1990s Sudan, a man known as wizard Shoaib defrauded a desperate entrepreneur with a money-doubling scam involving red mercury. After stealing the victim’s funds, he murdered him and buried the body beneath his bed. Police later discovered the remains, and Shoaib was executed for his crimes.
