Burn After Listening

Well, things got a little weird in Hollywood, and all over the world as we went into lock down, and the podcast (much like all other life as we knew it) went on hold. This episode was the Burn After Crew's attempt at giving people songs to help them through the tough times. They still hold up, since feeling of isolation and loneliness are still with us...kinda like COVID. So, hop in the time machine and enjoy the ride.(original air date 5/14/2020)

From Cream to The Highwaymen to Audioslave, Super-Groups have evolved over the years. The Burn After Crew is back..kind of. We're checking in and giving a quick 'State of the Pod': discussing the future of this podcast and teasing the fun that's to come for our fellow music obsessives!

The 'Burn After' crew is back. It's a new year, but we're in the same surreal situation we were in 2020. So, why not obsess over something that brings you joy instead of doom?

This episode we explore the short lived Hulu re-boot of 'High Fidelity', staring Zoe Kravitz. We lament the apparent cancelation of season 2 (we're still holding out hope that it might still happen), marvel at the treasure trove of songs that the show has to offer, dig deeper into Izzy's (and the lead character Rob's) David Bowie obsession, explore the eclectic collection of artists and genres that inhabit the music-obsessed world of the show, and give effusive praise to Questlove!
