TODAY’S SCRIPTURE | Luke 24:13-35 
The series begins with a post-resurrection vignette where Jesus reveals that all of scripture is about him  (Luke 24:27).  Forgetting this truth leads to confusion about the Bible and how our story intersects with God’s story.  Therefore learning to read Scripture means asking each text: “What does this have to do with the story of Jesus?”  Reading Genesis with this question in mind allows us to see how the book anticipates the coming of Jesus and the redemptive impact of his life, death and resurrection.
