In this episode, we are celebrating Burn's night. Burns night is a celebration of the work of Robert Burns the Scottish poet and his contribution to Scottish culture. It is traditionally celebrated in Scotland with a supper of Haggis, neeps, and tatties.
The team has recorded themselves reading verses from the traditional Burns poem 'Address To A Haggis' from the safety of their homes. Last year we celebrated Burns night in store with poetry readings, free whiskey shots, and live bagpipes. We look forward to doing this again in the future but for now, we hope you enjoy this poetry reading.
Take care, from the team at Books On The Hill.
