Its secondary agenda, is to provide valuable support to employees through conflict resolution, benefits administration, training, and workplace development. However, employees/contractors should recognize HR’s loyalty ultimately lies with organizational goals and leadership decisions.

Several examples are discussed where employees mistakenly assume HR operates as a neutral mediator, only to discover that company liability and business interests take priority. This discussion encourages workers to document workplace issues carefully, understand company policies, and seek independent legal or professional advice when facing serious employment concerns.
