In this episode we outline the basics of Business Management. We explain the top line, the bottom line and the front line and how they are important for generating profit. We also explain fixed costs, controllable costs and variable costs. Businesses generally fall into two main categories of either product-based or service-based as their mode of generating value. There are many large components to Business including; operations, marketing, economic climates, pricing, branding and production, all off which can be analysed in various amounts of detail. Business Management is a perfect analogy of cognition and intellect; therefore it serves as a stepping stone in our overall journey towards understanding.
