Welcome to the latest episode of Preserving History and Democracy! In this episode, we shine a spotlight on a local business: Southwest Skydive! Join host Bern and she talks to Cameron and Jaziel, owners of the newly established Doña Ana business, as they share the journey behind starting Southwest Skydive. They dive into how the idea for the business came to life and the steps they took to bring it to reality, including navigating the process with the County, specifically the Clerk’s office. Cameron and Jaziel also share some of the highs (and challenges) of their experience since launching the business. They take us through what a typical skydiving adventure looks like and explain some of the essential equipment used. Finally, they share their vision for the future of Southwest Skydive and where they see the business heading.
