She explained how the murder of George Floyd and the lack of income for black businesses gave them the motivation to create something for the community. Shaniqua talked being interested in radio, obtaining her masters degree, watching her father growing up while he was building his business, the first event and the number of vendors, and what she sees her business growing into.
