President Cyril Ramaphosa announced that government was taking the country back to risk-adjusted alert level 1. This has been met with mixed feelings from South Africans in general. However, this was welcome news for small, medium and micro-enterprises (SMMEs) after a difficult year.

SEFA hosted an open engagement with South Africa’s SMMEs last week. This virtual event reflected on the support SMMEs have received from the government during the pandemic.
