#23 -  This episode is all about busting the myths of aging.

My guest, Cheryl ILov, is a recovering physical therapist who specializes in fitness over fifty.  She loves busting the myths of aging, punching Father Time in the face, and telling the naysayers to hush up and go away.

She is a life long dancer who started training in an ancient Japanese martial art at the tender young age of 47, became her teacher's first female black belt at 57, and is still training 3 days/week at 66. At 58 shedecided to start engaging in more age appropriate activities so she started pole dancing. She entered a competition at 63, and placed first in my category, she is a gold medal pole dancer!  Who knew there was such a thing?

Additionally, Cheryl is the author of two books, one titled "Forever Fit and Flexible: Feeling Fabulous at Fifty and Beyond," and "The Reluctant Ninja: How A Middle-Aged Princess Became A Warrior Queen." She is also the host of The FemiNinja Project podcast, which is about overcoming obstacles, personal empowerment, restoring human dignity, and alternative health and healing.

Be sure to check out her great podcast and visit her at her website, cherylilov.com.
