Why aren't we, as OT practitioners adequately prepared for what the 'temperature of the room' is toward occupational therapy. It's frigid. The temperature of the room [the culture] is COLD!
We talk about advocacy at the macro level (government), but what about to the people around us, medical professionals, and future referring partners?? We need to raise awareness at ALL LEVELS of public!
