This week, we're plunging into the heart-pounding world of A Quiet Place: Day One! The latest chapter in the chilling A Quiet Place franchise takes us back to the origins of the terrifyingly silent apocalypse. Set before the events of the original film, this prequel uncovers the early days of the alien invasion and the human struggle for survival in a world where even the slightest sound can be deadly. With a fresh cast and new storylines, A Quiet Place: Day One offers a gripping exploration of fear, resilience, and the lengths we'll go to protect our loved ones. As we dissect the film's edge-of-your-seat tension and examine how it expands the universe of its predecessor, we ask: Does A Quiet Place: Day One build on the suspense and emotional depth of the original, or does it falter under the weight of its own ambition? Join us to find out, as we ask the question... But Is A Quiet Place: Day One Good?

This week, we’re gearing up for a superhero showdown of epic proportions with Deadpool & Wolverine (2024)! Directed by Shawn Levy and uniting Ryan Reynolds with Hugh Jackman, this film brings the ultimate antihero duo together in a clash of wit and claws. Deadpool, with his trademark irreverence, and Wolverine, with his gruff demeanor, team up for an action-packed, hilariously chaotic adventure that promises to push both their limits.
When a mysterious new threat emerges, the unlikely pair must put aside their differences and navigate a world full of danger, dysfunction, and dazzlingly self-referential humor. With a supporting cast that includes familiar faces and fresh new characters, this film dives headfirst into a whirlwind of quips, brawls, and unexpected alliances.
As we dissect the dynamic chemistry between Deadpool and Wolverine, and explore the film’s blend of comedy, action, and heartfelt moments, the question remains: Does this reunion live up to the hype, or is it all just a good-natured joke? And among the chaos and camaraderie, we ask… But Is Deadpool & Wolverine Good?

This week, we’re breaking the fourth wall and diving into the irreverent world of Deadpool (2016)! Directed by Tim Miller and starring Ryan Reynolds, this R-rated superhero romp follows Wade Wilson, a former Special Forces operative who becomes the wisecracking antihero known as Deadpool after undergoing an experimental procedure. With his new powers, an arsenal of sass, and a love for breaking the mold, Deadpool sets out to get revenge on the man who nearly ruined his life. Joining Reynolds are Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, and a smattering of delightful, oddball characters. This film is as much a love letter to comic book fans as it is a hilarious, foul-mouthed parody of the superhero genre. Amidst the meta-humor, the absurdity, and the epic action sequences... But Is Deadpool Good?

This week we continue our little impromptu Yorgos Lanthimos with 2018s The Favourite! Starring Olivia Colma, Emma Stone, and Rachel Weisz, this film follows the battle between cousins Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough and Abigail Hill for the favor of the queen, Anne. Loosely (and we mean loosely) based on historical events, this film is a raucously funny period piece driven by its' three female leads. But many questions remain! Is Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough the heiress of the Marlboro cigarette fortune (Not a sponsor)? (Also, no. We already know the answer to that question - it is no.) How does one treat gout in 18th century Great Britain? (Raw meat, apparently) But... Is The Favourite Good?

This week (after a week delay - sorry LOL Hunter got sick and then Zach got sick) we're diving into the newest addition to the Mad Max Saga - "Furious." Anyway, so there's that. Also we ask the question...But is Furiosa good?
