This week we discussed how Jesus is the Word of God and the bible is not. We’ll be asking how the bible has and is used often still to refute Jesus and how as anabaptist we resist the urge to say, “But the bible says…”
We do not follow the bible we follow Jesus.
We respect and love the bible because Jesus did.
The bible is a big deal but not as big as Jesus.
