I can't believe Black History month is almost over but in honor of the month and to wrap up our series on forgotten Black figures, let's talk about who inspired MLK. Vernon Johns not only served as inspiration but he also warmed up the people at Dexter Avenue Baptist church to be more active in the civil rights movement at a time where they couldn't have cared less.
