Podcast 131
I grew up with a family that taught us “Buy American Made.” Wuhan Coronavirus should be the last primary product we get from China. COVID-19 has exposed our country’s dependency on foreign-made prescription drugs. I believe that it is time that we roll out the Buy Made in America mentality again. The American people would make our necessary medications, and no longer would we find ourselves in this predicament. Podcast 131 will discuss why after the Coronavirus the policy going forward for our country should be Buying Made in America in our country.
Buying Made in America Transcripts Part 1
Thank you, Dr. Harrison, For that warm introduction, I am David Marks the pontificator of common sense and your coffee connoisseur. You will find yourself in a new format for front porch politics. We’re going to try and you format. We’re gonna try to give you a shorter podcast that covers a single topic in a condensed. If I may use it that way, amount of time so that you can listen to this on your way to work or on your way home from work or whatever it may be, or just to get up in the morning and listen to it. Maybe while you’re in the shower, I don’t know.
But we’re going to try to start giving you a daily podcast here on front porch politics, and we’re gonna try to cover events that are taking place each day. Now, this is not because of the Coronavirus. This is something we have been looking at doing for some time. It’s something I felt would be more beneficial because we were rolling out 1 to 2 podcasts week and I was having to pour a lot of time into those podcasts.
This gives me the ability to actually give you good content, a good podcast, cover the topics, but not beat the horse to death even when it’s dead. That being said, this podcast is American made. 100% made in America, 100% created, manufactured produced. Everything’s done here in America, and we’re very thankful for that.

Okay, When I was growing up, I remember this. I don’t know why I have this memory, but I have a memory of being in school. And one of my friends made a comment one time at school, we were probably 4th or 5th grade. About how his dad would only buy American made products. And this is the same sentiment that I remember coming from my family. I remember my family felt the same way. We had pride in American made products. And just to be honest with you, I grew up with my dad talking to me about how things built things, made things manufactured.
Whatever it may be, those things made in America seemed to have better quality. I kid you not. I remember a washing machine in my house that I had bought used years ago. That was a whirlpool washing machine.
