We’re back with a late upload of a recording from April! Tune in to hear our thoughts on the Oscars, as well as “recent” movies such as Civil War, Late Night with the Devil, Immaculate, and Hundreds of Beavers. We also have Lauren back to discuss our first piece of live theater, Saw: the Musical. It’s great to be back, more coming soon!

Don’t call it a comeback! We’re back from our usual summer hiatus to talk about … everything that came out this summer! We mostly focus on Haunted Mansion, Oppenheimer, and Barbie, but we also have thoughts on the new Indiana Jones as well as a host of other summer hits. We also have updates on the Disney animation watch project, several other personal movie marathons, and a cautionary tale about why you shouldn’t bring a five year old to see indie horror Talk to Me! Quick, get in here before they kick us out!

We’re diving into our childhoods this week, visiting the 1994 animated/live-action film The Pagemaster. Watch out for bloodthirsty pirates, ferocious dragons, and shoddily constructed bike ramps! Random asides this week include The Jekyll and Hyde Club in NYC and “why don’t they put prizes in snack boxes anymore?” We also discuss the recent films Beau is Afraid (AKA Bue is Scared) and Guardians of the Galaxy: Volume 3. Come along with us, and remember: look to the books!

We have a really weird one this week with the 2007 Lindsey Lohan vehicle I Know Who Killed Me! Blue flowers, 32 year old high schoolers, and dry ice dismemberments abound! But first, we cover some of our favorite recent releases, including John Wick: Chapter 4, Dungeons and Dragons, and Evil Dead Rise. Don’t talk to me or my stigmatic twin ever again!

What a night it was! We’re back to talk about the Oscars ceremony as well as a bunch of horror movies we’ve seen recently, namely Scream 6, The Outwaters, and Cocaine Bear. Grab your substance of choice and join us, won’t you?

We have a massive episode this week as we near the finish line with our final episode before the Oscars ceremony. This week we discuss: Bablyon, To Leslie, EO, House of Splinters, Argentina 1985, Women Talking, Tell It Like a Woman, RRR, Bardo, Blonde, and the live action and animated shorts! Phew! As if that isn’t enough, we also discuss the original scores, our favorites watches during this project, and the movies we’ll be rooting for come Oscar night. Pop some champagne and listen to us discuss a good chunk of this year’s nominees, and you’ll be that much more informed when the ceremony starts!
