Music has a way of telling the deepest things about God and religion. But most popular music tears down God and religion. How did grief turn one man into a songwriter who describes what it’s really like to know God?  

 

This week on “The Bear Woznick Adventure,” I talk with alt-rock singer/songwriter Andy Gallagher, whose music I’m using for the next season of the “Long Ride Home.” We discuss what makes music so powerful and the extraordinary men who influenced Andy’s music and faith. We also explore the name of his band and what it means for all the men out there whose lives need an overhaul.
