Diana Award recipient, board member for Beyond, and activist in mental health. Antonio gives us his take on his experience of needing support amongst a culture that gave very little, and still continues to trail behind the needs of a growing and ever-changing society.
Growing up surrounded by social, political and legal arenas that never seemed to interlace in a way that sought to ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of an individual the way we would like, and each aspect bringing it's own complex nuance. Something Antonio understands only too well.
Being diagnosed with psychosis in his late-teens, Antonio has transformed the statistical trajectory of a young man figuring out life while trying to understand the tension of his neurology, his mind, and navigating what can be described as the vast and vulnerable gap between both.
