Faith—trust, belief, conviction of the truth, holy fervor, the character of one who can be relied on. ⁣ ⁣ Faith is confidence in who God is⁣ ⁣ Hebrews 11:1—"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for…"⁣ ⁣ Habakkuk 2:4—"But the just (righteous) shall live by his faith."⁣ ⁣ Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been are saved through faith…" ⁣ ⁣ Mark 11:22, "Have faith in God." Because Jesus is who He says He is, don't you think we should pay attention to what He has to say about this? ⁣ ⁣ Mark 5:36, "Jesus overheard their conversation & said, 'Don't be afraid; just believe.'"⁣ ⁣ Ephesians 3:12—"…we have boldness & access w/ confidence through faith in Him."⁣ ⁣ Hebrews 10:22—"Let us draw near w/ a true heart in full assurance of faith…"⁣ ⁣ 2Corinthians 5:7, "For we walk by faith & not by sight."⁣ ⁣ Galatians 2:16, We are "justified by faith in Jesus, not by works of the Law."⁣ ⁣ Galatians 2:20, "I have been crucified w/ Christ…the life I live, I live by faith in the Son of God…"⁣ ⁣ Galatians 3:26, "You are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus."⁣ ⁣ 1Peter 1:7—"…& your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold.
