As parents in the flesh (with dependents) and parents in the spiritual (of our dreams and destiny) we must remember that we have a divine duty to that which God allows us to birth. Our divine duty includes protecting our gift; knowing our gift has purpose and is of God; and we must not be fearful of the powers that be. This sermon was preached at Carron Baptist Church in Washington, DC, where I serve as the pastor.
