The only way that Colossians 1:16 and John 1:3 can align with Genesis 1:1 is to say “Jesus is God”. If God created all things and Jesus created all things then Jesus and the Father are one and the same. In fact Jesus declared them to be “One”.

The majesty of Jesus is proclaimed in these verses. He created all things and holds all things together.

He is also the head of the church. He is proclaimed to have preeminence over all things. The fullness of the Father is revealed in the Son.

Throughout eternity the worthiness of the Lamb of God is proclaimed.
