But that premise is not actually true...and all that notion does is make our work seem more intense and way less fun. 

Here's the thing - we don’t need to coerce ourselves into doing our work. We don’t have to force ourselves into doing it nor do we have to be super excited about it. Getting work done doesn’t have to be about those two extremes.
