When you see something suspicious or it appears that a fellow citizen is in danger, do
you get involved and say something? If you saw someone getting assaulted in public,
would you call the police or stop the violence or detain the abuser? What makes you
intervene? In what circumstance would you step in and offer help to someone in need?
A local our guide, Jonathan Muller, witnessed a woman in clear distress in a vehicle on
Pepper street in Cape Town yesterday. She was screaming for dear life and was being
beaten. He tried to help but things happened very fast and he could not get to her in
time.
