Intoxication among youths and alternative to social recreation

Research and Justification

According to the studies in the scholarly journal Cannabis Research of Bio medical Central, the consumption of illegal substance among Jamaican teenagers are on the rise. This include cannabis, alcohol and other substances that are introduced in colleges and high schools. Today it is a pervasive issue. Alcohol abuse among teenagers is still a topical issue and if we can find an alternative to this scourge, we can help to curve this dangerous habit. Last month, a teenager downed her last shots of alcohol before going to sleep and she never woke up.

My documentary seeks to find some of te answers that is often asked, and an alternative to social recreation since a high percentage of substance abuse emanate from teenagers trying to escape the reality of life

-What the program is all about?

My approach to unearthing the problem of alcoholism is unconventional. I will be sharing a story that will bring all the subject who are connected to the topic: from a bar tender who often feed the habit and knows the cost of overdrinking. I will give an ear to a recreational drinker who knows what triggers the temptation, a psychologist who knows why individual abuse alcohol and a medical doctor who has the remedy, and last but not least, entertainment hosts who have alternative options for recreation. We will listen to their advice and experience and send messages to individuals who are vulnerable to substance abuse preferably alcohol.

-The importance

This documentary is importance as it will provide resourceful information and insights on alcohol abuse. It will also share the financial repercussions and health hazard if one decides to embark on overindulgence of alcohol.

-Expectations

After this documentary, one will be equipped to handle challenges  to recreation as a form of celebration. It will also help to deal with stressful situations and help in counselling others who have gone down the destructive path of alcohol abuse.
