This book makes a great reference book for learning the Linux command line. Very detailed. It covers all of the commands you will most likely use and explains them so you can easily understand them. Highly recommended!

A very good book on programing if you already know a little.
I would have given it 5 stars, but i am not to keen on look at this program and here is how it works style of teaching.
Don`t get me wrong though it can be followed fairly easily. An d the chapter on shell programing is great.
If you know a little c or c++ and want to learn to program for unix..........Highly recommended...

This book is about leraning programming language C++, one can learn what it is, how it came around and of course when can it be used. C++ is one very important part of computer and Internet world. One of the benefits of learning C++ programming alaguage is that other languages can be learnt with ease.
It is one of the most important languages today, it is mostly used in industry, instead of making new programs, the programers just adopt C++ to many different variations. It is not only used for its speed and flexibility but because it is fairly easy to be learnt. It might seem as an intimidating programming language but it is big challenge to learn it. Second part is about Linux, Hacking..
Plenty information for all those wanting to learn more about programming and programing languages.
I love this haandy guide
I am fairly new to Linux and needed something to help me, not only learn the commands, but something I could reference over and over as needed. I love this handy guide; I havent come across anything Ive needed that wasnt covered in this book. The author did a great job including all the commands youll need along with some tips and trips to make the use of Linux open source platform easier, like use of the tab key. I feel like this guide will be my best friend as I continue to use Linux! Thank you to the author for putting together such a comprehensive, easy to understand guide to Linux.
