welcome to c minor harmonic scale grade 8 abrsm but i want my suzuki students doing this too i want everybody to do it actually you can use this of your string player as well it's really um useful to um to get to know the notes so practice with me c d e flat f g third over a flat two on the b naturalized c fourth over e flat f thumb on the g over on that a flat and a natural b and to the c and we're going to do exactly the same on the way back down so remember where you've been uh we've got a thumb on that c now we've got a b natural a flat what's happening next we're putting a thumb under on that g f e flat and a fourth on the d remember you always want your thumb on the c we're on the c b natural a flat thumb under f natural three on the e flat d and then c back to pinky on the c easy peasy five four three two one three two one four three two one three two one okay have you got it two two three thumb under for the one two three four thumb under natural second finger uh third on the a flat uh thumb under g f one two three four five so one more time okay got it hopefully you have and um do as many options as you can really um and over and over again that's it we'll be doing um our all of our d's tomorrow d major d minor and d harmonic minor i i may have already done the d major so um have a look uh hope this helps
