meh

pretty much just explains the basic definitions of the beginning functions of C, then ends it. I guess it's not bad but you're definitely not going to be any better writing in C after listening.

Really good book

The audio book was great it covered all the syntax and codes, explained what each syntax and commands meant, just what I was looking for an audio book that would cover all the basics of C# to listen to on the go and learn all the basic commands . Really great narration, easy to digest and understand.

it is for beginners and it might seem confusing to understand for those who are completely new to programming so read it a few times to make it stick and comprehend more. i found it helpful and enjoyed it.

Not for the expert, but a great start

Yes. And multiple times.

Look, this book isn't going to make you an expert in one listen but you really don't want that. It gets you through the basics. I'd say; get the audio book and listen a couple of times through. Then play it in the background while you're working and doing other things. It's a great method to get used to terminology and get used to the idea of programming, and it's fundamental concepts.

After you get through this, just go read the GNU C manual. The two together work as a great pair to get you started off.

Book seems incomplete

Would you try another book from Sam Key and/or Millian Quinteros?

I wouldn't mind, but this one was incomplete. At chapter 8, it abruptly stops and thanks me for purchasing the book.
