Ce premier épisode de la série consacrée au “bois en architecture” introduit les différentes implications du sujet, de son rôle en tant que matériau, à son impact sur la forme architecturale, en passant par son utilisation sur les chantiers de construction. Quels en sont les avantages et les limites ? 

Nous abordons également les différences entre architecture vernaculaire et contemporaine ainsi que la manière dont le bois influence notre approche de l'architecture.

Pour enrichir notre réflexion, Pedro Batista, architecte chef de projet chez ORY.architecture, intervient dans cet épisode. Pedro a joué un rôle clé dans le développement et la construction du bâtiment lauréat de l'appel à projet « Réinventer Paris » pour Novaxia. Avec lui, nous approfondissons l'expérience de l'utilisation du bois comme matériau structurel dans le contexte de l'architecture contemporaine.
