As the newly formed group of tryouts search for answers about where they are and what their test is, they become surrounded by undead thralls of a necromancer. The skeletons have come looking for the half dead Vigil found in the cabin. After a bit of parlay involving a carrot and a ring, a fight breaks out. The new Vigil recruits are able to come out on top in the end and find clues of what is really happening in this area known as 'The Proving Grounds'.
