How do you find lost things? You search for them until you find them. But, we learn from this story is that PROXIMITY can’t replace relationship. We may think because we put ourselves close to the father (Church, Christian friends, avoid immoral behavior, life looks put together) that it’s enough. But we can still miss it. The goal isn’t proximity, it’s obedience. The problem isn’t often proximity, it’s priorities.
