Most likely sooner rather than later someone is going to let you down, offend you, or hurt your feelings. I wish this was not the case, but I promise you the honeymoon will end. That is the bad news. However, there is some good news. The good news is the relationship does not have to end when the honeymoon does. In fact, our relationship with one another has the potential to become much better, stronger, and deeper after the honeymoon ends IF, (and this if a big IF), we learn to live out a very important “one another.” This one is mentioned by Paul in his letter to the family of God in Ephesus and Colossae. In Ephesians 4:32 we read these words, “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” In Colossians 3:13 Paul writes, “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
