CAA UPDATE - UPCOMING 2020 DRONE LAWS VS UK WITHDRAWAL FROM EUROPE.

We've had confirmation from the CAA, that the Drone Regulations in the UK are set to change to the new EASA regulations on July 1st 2020 as per the current plan.

This means that the only options for getting enhanced permissions (over and above having to operate in the A3 subcategory of the Open Category) are to complete either the A2 C of C, the GVC or gain an OSC.

IF YOU HAVE A PfCO - KEEP IT CURRENT, DON'T LET IT LAPSE AND/OR GET ONE IN PLACE IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED YOUR TRAINING... BEFORE 1st JULY 2020. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL MEAN YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE AN ADDITIONAL TRAINING COURSE WITH A CAA RAE BEFORE YOU WILL BE GRANTED PERMISSIONS AGAIN BY THE CAA!
