Welcome to SliceDnDiced one-shots! These are bite-sized sessions designed to be completed start-to-finish in one go, featuring randomised characters and with minimal prep work to encourage improvisation and immersion. Each week will feature brand new scenarios, characters, players and possibly even guest DMs!
Hired by King Elric of the nearby city of Hralfjorn, our group of strangers has been tasked with investigating a mysterious cabin in the woods where an old hag is said to live. Many travelers passing through that area in recent months have not made it out of the woods and suspicions are growing that she may have something to do with this, despite never having posed a threat before. She would come to town every few months for supplies and while quiet, was not unkind to those she interacted with. If the group were to find proof that she has caused harm to befall these travellers, they have the King's permission to eliminate the threat. After discussing their plan and deciding it would be best to approach the hag's house in the early hours of the morning so as to retain an element of stealth, they huddle around the campfire, preparing for their encounter...
