We kick off Vegetarian Awareness Month by serving up a refreshing "prickly pear" cactus cocktail, inspired by a trip to the outlying islands of Penghu!

Today’s menu: In our first course, we’ll first make a stop in a place called "Road to Paradise" (天堂路). In our second course we visit a little “prickly pear” stand in the Penghu village of Erkan to learn about some more uses of prickly pear juice. And in our third and final course, mixologist Andrew Ryan pours a special cactus cocktail for Ellen Chu!
