After this podcast was recorded Macmillan agreed to allow each consortium member library to buy an initial release copy of new titles, rather than just one copy for the whole consortium. We are encouraged by this small step in the right direction for maintaining and hopefully eventually expanding equity to libraries in the digital marketplace.
